Dragon Slime. Moco de Dragón

We can explain the meaning of Sant Jordi in a creative and fun way. We can make theatrical performances at home or any other fun crafts. Let's encourage creativity and imagination through stories and activities that entertain and make them have a memorable experience. We are going to create our dragon slime. What do we need? How are we going to do it? Let’s start!

Objectives:  

• Create a sensorial slime with natural elements
• Let them explain their own creation
• Connect the activity with real life situations

Materials: 

• Chia seeds (1 cup)
• Water (2 cups. Double a mount seeds)
• Corn flour (½. A half amount chia)
• Green food coloring
• A bowl
• A spoon

Procedure: 

Begin the lesson by having a discussion about Sant Jordi. Encourage your child to create Dragon Slime, they can use it for play with their dinosaurs or other toys they might have.. Let them to create and tell about them to the family.

Podemos explicarle la historia de Sant Jordi de forma creativa y divertida. Podemos hacer en casa representaciones teatrales o otra manualidad. Fomentemos la creatividad y la imaginación a través de los cuentos y con actividades que se diviertan y les hagan recordar ese aprendizaje. En esta ocasión vamos a crear moco de dragón. Qué necesitamos? Cómo lo vamos a hacer? Empezamos!

 Objetivos:

• Crear una masa sensorial con elementos naturales
• Hablar sobre su trabajo y el proceso creativo
• Conectar la actividad con situaciones de la vida real

Materiales:

• Semillas de chia (1copa)
• Agua (2copas. El doble que de semillas)
• Colorante alimenticio verde
• Harina de maíz (½ copa. La mitad que de semillas)
• Recipiente
• Cuchara

Procedimiento:

Comienza la actividad hablando de Sant Jordi. Anímalo a hacer moco de dragón. Déjalos que disfruten.

Are you ready? Let’s start! You will need Chia seeds

Leave them to soak in water for 6 hours.

After 6 hours seeds are big and slime.

Turn it into a bowl, put some color and mix it with a spoon! 

Put some corn flour until get viscous.

We have already moco de Dragón!!
